Valentine's Beeswax Candles
3”x 4” pillar candle
3”x 4” pillar candle
3”x 4” beeswax pillar candle
Burn time: 65 hours
Proper candle care:
- Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
- To prevent dripping, keep away from open windows, fans or excessive airflow of any kind and place your hand behind flame when blowing out
- To prevent tunneling, it is important to “hug” your candle. This means as your candle burns, the edges will soften, and you can softly press the soft edges of the candle toward the wick, leveling out the top of the candle. This will allow you to use your entire candle and not waste any of the precious wax.
Beeswax may have health benefits
Beeswax candles release negative ions into the air while burning. This helps clean the air by eliminating dust, odors and mold in the air.
Negative ions not only clean the air, but are also known to boost levels of serotonin, our body’s natural “feel good” hormone. This helps alleviate depression, relieve stress, and also boost our daytime energy!
What is “Bloom”?
If you notice a whitish coating on your candle and are wondering what that is, this is called “bloom”. This naturally happens with beeswax. It is a sure sign of a pure beeswax candle! Bloom is the result of softer oils rising to the surface. Rubbing the candle with a soft cloth will remove the bloom. Once removed, bloom will again reappear on pure beeswax overtime. Bloom has no effect on how your candle will burn.
